We are happy to announce that on April 19, 2006, the Eugene Film Festival was awarded a $5,000 Tourism Special Projects grant from the Lane County Parks Department. These funds were used for support of the website and film entry recruitment from all over the world, out of Eugene area advertising, and related marketing and promotional materials. We are grateful for the acknowledgement and confidence of the Lane County Parks Department for the Eugene Film Festival reflected by the receipt of this grant.

Eugene Film Festival 2006: It's a Wrap!

Thanks so much to all our boardmembers, to all our sponsors, to all our volunteers and associates, to all those who came to enjoy our events, and to all the filmmakers. We couldn't have done it without all of you.

Find out who the award winners are.

The 2nd Annual Eugene Film Festival will be October 4-6, 2007, so stay tuned!

EFF 2006 venues:

Bijou Art Cinemas, DIVA, WOW Hall, Tango Center, Eugene Public Library, Valley River Inn, and the University of Oregon

We are proud to present the Eugene Film Festival: Three days of local, national, and international short films, feature films, animation, filmmakers, educational forums, celebrity guest speakers, parties, and the ebullient quirkiness and class that is Eugene, Oregon. Here in Eugene you will see things you won't see anywhere else. Come see for yourself! We're bringing you the best of independent film, those gems created by people outside the confines of the Hollywood movie mill. About 30 filmmakers will be here at the festival to talk about and answer your questions about their films, and this is possibly your only opportunity to get close to them and see their early works before these folks get "discovered".

See our film lineup and Program Schedule!

We have over 28 hours of films!

A quick rundown of your three days of moving pictures at the EFF, May 12-14:

• It all starts 4pm, Friday, May 12th at the Tango Center Kickoff reception, where our fine Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy will officially open the festival. Get your Festival Pass, have some food, shmooze with some filmmakers and impressive film industry VIP's, see what's coming to the festival, listen to some hot tango music!
Films and presentations will be showing Friday through Sunday at the historic Bijou Art Cinemas, the DIVA Center, the WOW Hall, the Eugene Public Library, and the University of Oregon.
• On Sunday, May 14th, come to the Willamette Ball Room at the Valley River Inn for the EFF Filmmaker Awards Finale, featuring the Eugene Film Festival’s Most Outstanding Filmmakers, live music with David Helfand, tasty finger food, and a peek at our award nominated films. See how Eugene does the Oscars!
• Pass holders ride the LTD buses free during the festival! •

Filmmakers: Our Call for Entries is now closed. Thanks to all who entered. There would be absolutely no film festival without you. If your film is in the EFF, check the bottom of our film listing page to get your EFF Official Selection laurels, to add to your own web site. If you are attending the festival, we are delighted to have you here. There are 30 of you coming--that's almost half the number of filmes!

Our TV Ad

We had so much fun watching the plethora of film submissions that we decided to make our own TV commercial!
